RICHMOND, VA — On Tuesday, March 24th, The American Border Story (TABS) will host a press conference and vigil alongside the family of Stephanie Minter, Attorney General of Virginia Jason Miyares, and local lawmakers. Speakers will call for accountability and urgent policy changes following the preventable and horrific death of Stephanie Minter, who was killed by an illegal immigrant with a lengthy criminal record.
The event will highlight how Governor Spanberger’s policies limiting cooperation with federal law enforcement increase risks to public safety by allowing dangerous individuals to remain on Virginia’s streets—a failure that led to Stephanie’s tragic death. The event will also call for accountability from Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano for his role in repeatedly allowing the murderer, a repeat offender, to be released after multiple prior arrests.
Following the press conference, The American Border Story will lead a vigil honoring Stephanie’s life.
