This is just the beginning.
The beginning of the end of illegal immigration in America.
The beginning of secure borders with policies and laws to back them up.
The beginning of Making America Safe Again.
The line we’ve drawn in the proverbial sand will hold, becoming a solid, towering, and immovable object that stands for safety and prosperity in a civilized nation. What is being done today, and has already been accomplished in the last 11 months will protect future generations of Americans and preserve the country we love, which our ancestors fought so vigilantly to create.
Next week will mark the one-year anniversary of the night of the 2024 Presidential Election. So I think, at this point, we can confidently look back and celebrate the beginning of all the winning.
So. Much. Winning.
President Trump ran a campaign that promised many things, but one of the biggest was that he promised to put an end to the illegal immigration crisis.
He’s delivered.
By the end of the first year of The Trump Administration, we will have deported nearly 600,000 illegal immigrants. Another 2 million have already left our country, with 1.6 million of those voluntarily self-deporting. Cartels are so upset that fentanyl deaths and human trafficking numbers are down that they’ve put bounties worth thousands of dollars on ICE agents and officers’ heads.
They know the boss is back, and that he means business.
By May of 2025, ICE had identified illegal criminals living freely within our borders, including 13,099 convicted murderers and 15,811 convicted sexual predators, and immediately arresting 752 of the murderers and 1,693 of the sexual predators.
Fast forward to September 2025, and DHS was able to report that “for four straight months, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has not released a single illegal immigrant into the country… DHS has made it clear: the era of open borders is over.”
Thanks to the “Big Beautiful Bill” increasing the budget allocation for DHS and immigration enforcement officers, ICE has been able to offer things like $50,000 sign-on bonuses to their more than 150,000 newly received officer applicants — not to mention a killer marketing campaign. More agents equals more arrests and deportations.
Yeah. I voted for this.
There’s been a 99.99% drop in illegal migration through well-known and trafficked crossings such as Panama’s Darien Gap, and even the Rio Grande is finally being properly policed.
The best part? America loves it.
No matter what people might be saying to their friends or co-workers, the numbers don’t lie when it comes to their true feelings. As of an October 2025 national poll, an overwhelming 78% of Americans “support deporting criminal illegal aliens, with 54% of registered voters supporting “deporting immigrants living in the United States illegally back to their home countries.”
According to the NY Post, “exactly half of all respondents said the President’s border policies were about right (32%) or did not go far enough (18%), with only 38% saying the administration was going too far in its crackdown.”
What’s truly amazing is that the Trump Administration has been able to accomplish all of this despite insane activist judges trying to rule from the bench and politically motivated lawsuit after lawsuit.
Even now, we are in the middle of a government shutdown which is happening, lest we forget, because Democrats refuse to sign a deal unless we give back billions of dollars’ worth of free healthcare for illegals.
The White House released a new memo walking through each of the Democrats’ proposal talking points, showing exactly how they once again prioritize illegals using American taxpayer dollars while cutting healthcare for U.S. citizens.
The Democrats’ proposal would amount to “nearly $200 billion spent on healthcare for illegal immigrants and other non-citizens over the next decade… would once again allow those improperly granted asylum and parole under Biden’s open borders scheme to receive Medicaid and would require Medicaid to pay more for emergency care provided to illegal aliens than it does for American patients who are disabled, elderly, or children.” Their insane proposal would also “allow California to continue exploiting a loophole to fund Medicaid for illegal aliens, would reinstate a special Obamacare subsidy for non-citizens — for which low-income American citizens are not eligible, would repeal a generational $50 billion investment in rural healthcare and would take Health Savings Accounts away from ten million American citizens.”
While annoying and bizarrely frustrating, this entire situation is a reminder — the battle is not over.
We have three years to go. This is a long-term fight that requires strategy and resources.
It’s also a sad showing of how much Democrats truly despise real Americans and American values and would rather millions of illegals — including murderers, human traffickers, and child rapists — receive your taxpayer benefits, money, and all the privileges of being a citizen of the United States without deserving or earning it.
It was never going to be an overnight fix.
You can’t simply snap your fingers and undo the decades’ worth of injustices and America-last policies that the administrative deep state accomplished without any oversight. We aren’t Thanos.
This was always going to be a mission of both giant feats and small wins, where we pushed back, inch by inch, reclaiming territory that had been abandoned or handed over to the enemy by the previous administration and corrupt lifelong bureaucrats. It was going to be hard work that required a lot of manpower, some good attorneys, and all kinds of new ground covered.
But it was always going to be worth it.
To save our nation, we knew what needed to be done and have dedicated ourselves to accomplishing the goals that serve as mile markers on our mass deportation journey.
So, as the second year of our four years in the Second Trump Administration soon begins, never forget that this has merely been the beginning of a great victory, and that we at The American Border Story are in it for the long haul. Even though this is my final blog post for The American Border Story, it doesn’t mean I or any of us are getting out of the ring anytime soon.
Until every last illegal immigrant in our nation is deported and every American who has been the victim of a failed open-border immigration policy is given justice, we will not rest.
We’re here for you.
To tell your stories, to save America, and to make America safe again.
