Late Night Hates ICE

by | Oct 17, 2025

You know we’re doing something right when mainstream media starts taking cheap shots at women and blatantly lying on late night television.

This past weekend, NBC’s “Saturday Night Live!” decided to open with mocking DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Attorney General Pam Bondi. Never ones to miss out on a chance to make fun of Conservative women, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler played the starring roles, making sure to get in one liners mocking ICE agents and DHS recruitment videos. They belittled ICE applicants as those who “can’t be trusted” and described them as general stupid losers. No thought or consideration to the fact that this type of rhetoric of the brave men and women in uniform is what feeds the sick individuals who assault law enforcement.

The reality is that attacks against ICE agents and law enforcement are up over 1000% since January of this year.

But SNL doesn’t care about actual Americans, just the deceitful narrative they can continue to push on their viewers.

Meanwhile, after being briefly taken off the air (much to the chagrin of his bleak 129,000 viewers), Jimmy Kimmel returned to television with more lies in the past few weeks. Kimmel went off on a rant during his opening monologue a few weeks ago claiming that Antifa isn’t real and doesn’t exist after recently being classified as a terrorist organization by President Trump with his Executive Order “Designating Antifa as a Domestic Terrorist Organization.”

The outlet Oregon Live even reported on the insanity sayingJimmy Kimmel poked fun at President Donald Trump’s Antifa roundtable. During that event Wednesday, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that the girlfriend of one of the founders of Antifa recently had been arrested in Portland. “You understand, there’s no Antifa,” Kimmel said in his monologue. “This is an entirely imaginary organization. There’s not an Antifa. This is no different than if they announced they rounded up a dozen Decepticons.”

So let’s correct the lie, shall we?

Antifa stands for “anti-fascist” and was originally a movement founded against actual fascist dictators like Benito Mussolini in the 1930s after the rise of Hitler in Germany. There have been a multitude of books written on Antifa, including a “handbook,” and there are many formed and known organizations that bear the name.

It is especially important to note that, in 2007, the very first official Antifa organization was established in Portland, Oregon – Rose City Antifa – the oldest Antifa organization in the United States.

According to DHS, the members of Rose City Antifa are the same individuals who “illegally doxed ICE officers, publishing their private information and home address online and on public flyers” and sent death threats to ICE agents and DHS personnel.

But yes, Jimmy, let’s pretend they are figments of our imagination after being an official organization for nearly 20 years.

Meahwhile, “The Daily Show,” had host Josh Johnson also took on the topic of “That’s tricky because, while there are people who identify as Antifa, it isn’t really an official group. They don’t even have a website,” Johnson said. “Like, my cousin’s baby has its own website… I look at Antifa the way I look at Bigfoot,” Johnson said. “It’s big, scary and tearing up the Pacific Northwest.”

Unlike Johnson’s imaginary Big Foot, Antifa is very real.

In late September, DHS released a memo called “DHS is Fighting Back Against Antifa Violence” that went on to list the recent attacks by Antifa groups against our government agencies and officers.

Imaginary creatures don’t shoot people with bullets engraved “Anti-ICE” like they did in Dallas last month. Fictional Evil Transformers don’t make bomb threats or try to run over CBP agents with their car. Figments of our imagination certainly don’t violently riot or attack ICE facilities

No. Antifa does these things.

It’s time for late night television to wake up to reality and stop fostering dangerous viewpoints or promoting violence by not just denying the world we live in, but making jokes about it

It’s time for the Jimmy Kimmels, Josh Johnsons, and SNL writers of the world to step outside their ivory television towers and hear the stories of the Martin Walls, the Anne Fundners, the Alexis Nungarays of our nation and all they have lost at the hands of illegal immigration.

While they stay safe and sound on their stages with security to protect them from the crowds snd hoards of autograph seeking fans, our ICE officers are out on the ground, exposed, and fighting a war to make our nation safer.

And there’s simply nothing funny about that.
