When it comes to illegal immigration, we talk about the Southern U.S. Border…. a LOT.
But, lest we forget, this giant nation of ours has a top as well as a bottom.
The Northern U.S. border that America shares with Canada is a bigger problem than ever. With DHS doing everything in their power to lockdown our border with Mexico since it has so much open access to crossings into the States, the more sinister and financially well-backed members of the illegal immigration problem have moved North.
This is especially true when it comes to a mass influx of Chinese illegal immigrants and China trafficking of both drugs like fentanyl as well as people to be used as victims of sex trafficking.
This didn’t happen overnight.
It’s a direct result of the Biden Administrations disastrous open border policies.
According to Congressional testimony, drug smuggling seizure weight increased by 600% along the northern border from 2021-2022. There were over 14lbs of fentanyl seized along the northern border alone in 2022.
To put that number in perspective, that’s enough to kill 3.17 million people.
The great (and oldest) state of Maine is a perfect example of this mass illegal invasion.
Back in April of this year, Maine reported the the highest number of arrests of illegals by U.S. Border Patrol in in a single month that they had witnessed in 24 years.
They caught 113 illegal aliens from 16 different countries.
Just a month later in May, Border Patrol did a 10-day “targeted enforcement operation” focusing on illegal immigrants and were able to arrest an additional 39 people.
Similarly to the month before, the illegals came from countries including Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and China with several having well-documented criminal histories and convictions.
And look at where Mainer tax payer dollars are going.
Maine spent $35 million – or 63% of the Emergency Housing Relief Fund that was intended for the hardworking American citizens of Maine – on housing for illegal immigrants in 2024 alone.
Those funds should be going to veterans and American workers down on their luck, single mothers, and elderly who are in desperate need, not fake asylum seekers who are here to leech off the broken American handout system and cause chaos.
Since 2021, it is specifically worth noting that the number of Chinese nationals seeking entry into the US has been increasing.
This is intentional and sinister and a direct result of the Chinese Communist party (CCP) intentionally invading our country with their people and drugs.
Former United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo even went on record in February of 2024, explaining that the “CCP has control on who leaves their country – they come here illegally with the CCP’s blessing, doing the work of the Chinese Communist Party…. This will come back to haunt us in the years to come.”
This is a planned and sanctioned invasion to hurt America and her people.
The Chinese Consul General in New York, Ping Huang has visited Maine to “promote China-U.S. ties by tapping regional cooperation potential between the two countries.” Huang met with Troy Jackson, President of the Maine Senate and Matthew Dunlap, Secretary of State of Maine.
He even attended the inauguration ceremony of Maine’s Democrat Governor, Janet Mills.
This should deeply concern you.
Why would a top ranking member of the CCP specifically attend the inauguration of a U.S. Governor to a vitally positioned border state?
The answer is simple: China is putting American politicians in their deep pockets.
The Chinese nationals breaking into America are here for nefarious reasons.
Our very own Anthony Aguero recently sat down with investigative journalist Steve Robinson and took us on a deep dive of what’s happening in the famous Lobster state.
Robinson told us about how much of the illegal Chinese activity throughout Maine comes from illicit marijuana farms. There are most likely thousands of grow houses throughout the state.
Maine’s “lax cannabis regulations also have made the state an attractive location for illicit growers to operate,” Maine Office of Cannabis Policy Director John Hudak has said. “It is the only state that doesn’t mandate testing for mold, chemicals and other contaminants.”
Along with NBC, CBS News reported that Maine is “the newest frontier for the illicit marijuana trade, with potentially hundreds of suspected unlicensed grow houses operating in the state.”
The lack of basic checks and balances or accountability from production to consumption of these drugs leaves the door wide open to the poisoning of America.
Former Maine state lawmaker Eddie DuGay has been accused of helping set up a “web of shell companies and illegal grows allegedly linked to Chinese organized crime.”
His response to the accusations? “I didn’t go into it thinking ‘I’m gonna get these Chinese guys involved so they could have 200 grow houses.’
But they did.
The extent of the illegal Chinese drug market that starts in border states like Maine and uses illegal immigrants as essentially slave labor which then grows marijuana plants at any cost – using highly poisonous pesticides that kill humans when smoked and lacing weed with fentanyl to increase production value and addiction – has been tracked for years.
The drugs are completely unregulated.
According to a report by the Press Herald last month, the amount of mold in cannabis samples from some of the various Maine illegal Chinese operations “maxed out the laboratory’s equipment while others contained lead, pesticides and banned chemicals.”
ProPublica did an entire exposé on how Chinese criminal networks have “taken over much of the illicit marijuana market in the U.S., stoking a wave of crime that includes violence, money laundering and human trafficking.”
Maine is ground zero because of Democrat Governors like Janet Mills and sanctuary state policies.
They don’t care who or what is operating in their state or if it’s illegal or not.
In his interview, Robinson went on to tell us of the recent raids by ICE of Chinese massage parlors in Maine that were hiding sex trafficking victims – people are another easy thing to smuggle over Maine’s wide open northern and marine borders.
The Maine Wire reported that ICE arrested Chinese national Tian “Adam” Tao, who owned the massage parlors on charges of sex trafficking, found he was in violation of his authorized stay in the U.S. that was given back in 2016, and promptly put him in custody. He was also traced back to New York City based Chinese crime bosses.
But for every one of these types of organizations caught, the real question is how many go unnoticed?
How many other people are being abused and trafficked for terrible purposes in Maine? How many more are here merely to commit crimes and hurt innocent American citizens?
Last year, three Chinese nationals were arrested for trying to swindle an 82-year-old man out of more than $100,000. The elderly Maine man was “tricked into believing that he received a fraudulent payment in his bank account and was coaxed to repay the money with cash,” the York County Sheriff’s Office reported. Another four Chinese illegal immigrants were caught crossing the border into Maine from New Brunswick around the same time.
Egregiously, just last month in June, both chambers of the Maine Legislature approved LD 1971 – a law that now completely prevents and restricts local authorities such as Maine police officers from assisting or helping carry out any kind of federal immigration enforcement.
This new law effectively won’t let Maine police contact DPS or ICE when they catch an illegal criminal.
Which is pretty insane, especially when you consider that is how the victims of the sex trafficking ring were saved and rescued from the massage parlors – police had contacted ICE for help.
The Democrats of Maine blamed President Trump’s crackdown on border enforcement and illegal immigration for the necessity of the bill, claiming that “adding such restrictions is necessary to ensure the rule of law is upheld since the Trump administration has violated legal norms and ignored court orders in a mass push to remove noncitizens.”
That’s right.
The state Democrats care more about illegals than Mainers.
Which means it should come as no surprise that Democrat Gov. Janet Mills has a plan to bring 75,000 more illegal immigrants to Maine by 2030 in order to “maintain the state’s workforce” through the state’s 10-year Economic Development Strategy.
You cannot mass import “asylum seekers” who live off of government handouts and expect them to either be productive members of society or integrate with the American way of life.
If that happens, the complete erasure of everything American about Maine’s beautiful small coastal and forest towns will be set.
Maine will devolve from iconic Americana to a cesspool of Chinese criminals, illicit drugs, and every attribute of a third-world country.
So goes Maine, so goes America.
It is vital that we focus on the U.S. Northern border – especially in Democrat run sanctuary states and cities such as Maine – and protect our greater nation for generations to come.
